“ Amazing coffee, especially for us as Australians. The macchiato was nice and strong and the flat white the perfect combination and proportion of coffee and milk. The Taftan (baked eggs) was amazing, such good flavours and a nice thin bread to accompany it. The Benedict was generous. The harissa hollandaise was nice and subtle. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back. ”

The ingredients were fresh, the lamb meatballs were perfectly seasoned (Not on the main menu but was part of a daily stew offering), it was bursting with flavors. The herb rice I had that day seemed to have less herbs than before, which I had enjoyed on its own last time I visited, but it was no issue this time because the tomato based stew was divine. It had the right amount acidity to balance the rich lamb meatballs, that tantalized my tastebuds at every bite. Most of all, my body felt nourished and satiated when I left. Can’t wait to go back again and try other dishes on the menu ! ”

The menu offers a simple yet well-rounded selection of dishes. However, be sure to check on availability—when we visited after 1 PM, we were surprised that the staff had to confirm whether omelettes were still being served, despite the menu not specifying them as breakfast-only items. As for the food, it was packed with rich flavors, especially when paired with rice. While the bread provided was a nice touch, the overall seasoning leaned a bit on the salty side for our taste. That said, if you’re looking for a casual yet refined Persian dining experience, this spot is worth a visit. ”
